Fitness Tip #26: The 80/20 Rule

When starting out on my fitness journey, I started by making small changes and slowly improve upon them over time. One of the most beneficial approaches I made was doing the 80/20 rule in the early going of my fitness journey. 

So, what is the 80/20 rule? It’s a rule that focuses on having 80% of the food eaten be healthy foods and not processed. Then the last 20% be treat meals. This is a great approach for staying on track and not falling off on a fitness journey in the early going. As time goes on, changes might have to be made to continue seeing results, but this is a great way to stay consistent when trying to hit daily calorie and macro goals.
