Fitness Tip #40: Shop the Perimeter of the Grocery Store

Something that I’ve noticed when going to grocery stores is that, oftentimes, the healthy food options are along the perimeter of the store. So, things like fruit, healthy protein sources, vegetables, and good food choices are along the perimeter. While more processed foods are in the center of the store.
This is not always the case, but I find this fitness tip helpful when going shopping because it has kept me from visiting aisles with treats and avoid the urge of making unnecessary purchases on foods that aren’t part of my fitness goals.
This could be a useful tip when on a fitness journey. Keep it in mind.
