Fitness Tip #19: Learn Lessons While Walking

Walking is an amazing tool to use when on a fitness journey. It’s easy to perform and can be consistently done over a long period of time. It’s especially beneficial when starting a weight loss journey due to it being a low-impact movement on the joints. Personally, I’ve found a hidden benefit to walking that not only helps with reaching fitness goals but is great for personal development.

While on my walks, I listen to podcasts, online courses, and other useful material which has been incredibly useful in not only reaching fitness goals but also personal development. This has helped me in learning new materials for work and furthering my education. It’s also been very useful in developing creativity and thinking of new ideas.

Some of the things I listen to on my walks:

  • Listen to a new podcast episode
  • Study a little bit of at least one of the courses I’m taking
  • Try to learn one new lesson or thing on my walks

I think learning while walking is a great way to reach fitness goals, further creativity, and personal development.

Always strive to become one step better each day.
