Fitness Tip #38: Keep Healthy On-The-Go Snacks

When I’m at work, traveling, and just moving around throughout the day. I carry around healthy snacks with me to prevent straying away from my fitness goals throughout the day. 

When I’m constantly moving around throughout the day there are plenty of times where I have an opportunity to have a treat or some kind of tasty food. So, I carry around healthy snacks to help limit these other snacks. This is because I understand there will be days that I do have these unhealthy snacks but that’s okay. The point isn’t to cut out everything from my life. It’s about limiting over snacking on food choices that I know won’t benefit me on my fitness goals and staying on track.  

Here are some examples of snacks that I personally carry around with me (not recommendations, just what I enjoy having) 

  • Jerky
  • Nuts
  • Apples 
  • Oranges

These snacks have really helped me to limit the over snacking of unhealthy snacks on my fitness journey.
