Fitness Tip #32: Focus on Rest and Recovery

This fitness tip is massive for so many reasons. Rest and Recovery aids in repairing muscle and helping with essential body functions. I’ll speak from personal experience that training hard in the gym is only one part of building strength and muscle. Without proper rest and recovery, the muscles can’t be built up and grow back bigger and stronger than before.
Think of it like this, inside the body there are workers prepared to go to work and need to clock in and out for their shifts. The more rest and recovery, the more time these workers can build the body back up bigger and stronger. If you cut the workers time short than they won’t have time to build.
Rest and recovery also help with reducing stress. When stress is reduced, it can really help with losing weight and energy levels.
Simply put, if you want to have energy, recover quickly, and improve strength and muscle. Then rest and recovery should be prioritized.
