It can be challenging to find good food choices when on a busy schedule. Trust me, I’ve been through that. BUT it is possible to find some great food options out there and they can be pretty convenient.

When deciding on food choices I knew that I needed to have food within my calories and my macros. So, after looking around I found a few helpful options for me on my fitness journey. I’m listing a few food options that really helped me on my fitness journey. Keep in mind, everyone’s fitness journey is different and the foods they enjoy and can eat will be different. These are just some examples of what I chose on my fitness journey.

  • Grabbing a rotisserie chicken and cut fruit at the grocery store.
  • Grabbing some fruit and some dry nuts.
  • Find a place that serves chicken and rice.

Personally, I like to focus on healthy protein sources with some fruits or veggies on the side. Be sure to read labels in order to determine if a food or snack is beneficial towards reaching your own personal goals.
