Fitness Tip #35: Avoid Distractions While Eating

I’ve noticed while on a fitness journey that when I would eat food and snacks without watching TV, being on a cell phone, or being distracted, that it becomes much harder to eat a lot of food. 

I think this is because when being distracted by TV, phones, shows, movies, email, and other things. It becomes much easier to be on autopilot and overeat. This overeating can be a real problem when on a fitness journey that involves weight loss. 

So, when trying to reach fitness goals, it may be helpful to try an avoid or limit eating foods and snacks in front of and/or being distracted by TV shows, movies, or social media content. Very easy to overeat when distracted.
