Fitness Tip #47: Managing Favorite Treats

Everyone, including myself, have their favorite treats and in today’s world many of those treats can easily cause problems on a fitness journey. BUT don’t worry! I’m not saying to quit your favorite treats and foods. Instead, finding ways to manage and limit them is a great way to start.
So, there are a few different ways to limit favorite treat meals and reach fitness goals. This plan is specifically for someone who struggles to give up treats during their fitness journey and know that is the main problem. Let’s go over the game plan.
The Game Plan:
- Identify the food that you really enjoy and have trouble getting rid of.
- Next, get rid of all unhealthy food choices from the house. This will help avoid unnecessary snacking.
- Then, work on only having healthy foods in the house and stick to a diet plan that works.
- Now, you may go have your favorite treat meal. BUT HERE ARE THE RULES
THE RULES TO HAVING YOUR FAVORITE TREAT MEAL
- In order to have the meal. You must drive to the place it is being sold at.
- You are not allowed to bring it back to the house for any reason. It must all be eaten at the place it served. NO LEFTOVERS ALLOWED.
- If you notice driving is becoming too easy-to-get access to this food. Then, start walking to the place it served.
